FLÜSSIGE HIMMEL//FLUID SKIES

An outward-return voyage in a heterogeneous loop that goes through the present art like a possibly -hopefully-distorted mirror of ourselves. A gaze at the mutated-media art. A blurred horizon in which our fluctuations can be reflected. A non-placed position among varying disciplines, thoughts and fields. A tribute to the inconstancy and the consistency of the permanent polysemy.
Part of Flüssige Himmel are, among others, the following projects:
- Analogize
Grasp the materiality of the intangible, enjoy the pleasure of the physical. Analogize consists of a round-trip to the digital world and to relate it in the traveler's notebook. It is to convert the digital in a physical-materic metaphor. It is to create manufactures guided by the zeros-and-ones logic. The analogization is focused in the analogous mutations of the digital reality.
- Plurality of Worlds
In 1686 Fontenelle published an astronomic novel that contained a visualization of the Cartesian vortices. This image of the universe constituted a challenge for many authors, who contributed with numerous variations in which their particular views were revealed. We propose here a journey trough some forgotten astronomical conceptions of the 17th and 18th centuries.
- Imaging the Code {T.A.S.* on paper}

Code, image, subject and (non-)technology, the cornerstones of the project, are not presented as independent realms, but intertwined with each other: codes are transformed into images, subjects are being coded and non-technological images are based on technology.
