Dr. Lucía Ayala, art historian, researcher and curator, has accomplished her binational PhD at the Humboldt-University of Berlin (Germany) and the Granada University (Spain). She deals with historical as well as contemporary contexts, since her main research field is the visual history of modern astronomy, encompassing up until current astrophysics. Her interests are concentrated on an art historical approach to science, astrophysics and contemporary media art.
